Large Pink Amethyst Geode 13kg on Stand – Rare Freeform with Crystal Caves 40cm | Brazil

A rare, large 13kg natural pink amethyst geode, measuring 40cm by 36cm and 11cm deep, supplied on a black metal display stand. A true one-of-a-kind statement piece, with two completely different faces to display.

A landscape of rose-pink crystal caves

The front of this piece looks like a miniature crystal landscape. Arches, tunnels and open caves wind through the stone, every surface coated in sparkling rose-pink and raspberry druzy. Near the top, a natural window opens right through the geode, crossed by a delicate bridge of pink crystal, so light and the room behind shine straight through. Look closer and you'll find little snowball clusters of pale pink crystal, deep berry-red hollows, pockets of frosted white quartz and creamy white chalcedony ridges that trace the edge of each cave. Natural light makes the whole surface glitter as you walk past.

A polished face of hidden geodes

Turn it round and the back has been cut and polished flat, revealing a cross-section of how this geode formed. More than a dozen separate geode pockets sit side by side, each framed in soft pink chalcedony. Some are lined with lavender amethyst points, others with frosted white quartz, and one holds a perfect little crystal suspended inside its own cave. A patch of dark green basalt, the volcanic rock the geode grew in, completes the picture.

Displayed upright on its stand

The geode comes on a black metal stand with a decorative cut-out base, which holds it upright so the crystal window and caves are shown at their best. It can also be displayed lying on its polished face.

Why this piece is special

Pink amethyst is one of the rarest forms of amethyst, found in only a few volcanic deposits in South America and only discovered in quantity in recent years. Most pieces on the market are small. A pink amethyst geode of 13kg, with a see-through crystal window, this much open, sculptural cave structure and a polished face full of separate geode pockets, is genuinely hard to find. It makes an extraordinary centrepiece for a living room, hallway, office, reception, treatment room or meditation space, and a collector's piece that will not be repeated.

Pink amethyst meaning

Pink amethyst is traditionally associated with love, compassion, calm and emotional healing. These traditional meanings reflect long-standing crystal belief, not proven effects.
