A crystal cave inside a polished sphere

One side of this sphere opens into a large geode pocket lined with glassy amethyst points, from bright violet at the rim to deep, almost black purple inside the cave. The crystals catch the light as you turn it, so the cavity seems to glow from within.

Around the opening, a thin band of pink and white agate traces the edge of the geode, and the rest of the sphere is polished dark grey basalt with fine natural texture. A striking amethyst crystal ball for a desk, shelf, bedside table or meditation space, and a memorable gift for a crystal lover.
